My name is Marcus D. Williams, President/ CEO of Protective Enterprises of Florida, LLC, North Florida's #1 rated security/ public safety firm that is focused on providing "Professional, Reliable Service"!

 

 

As a law enforcement visionary and executive, I rose through the ranks of the university, municipal and county law enforcement departments, later being appointed to Chief of Police in Georgia. As Chief of Police, I further served as the Vice-President of the Secondary Schools Law Enforcement Executives Association (School Board Police Chiefs State-wide), served as a member of the Police Chief’s Association and later served as a shift commander at Florida State College at Jacksonville's Department of Public Safety until my appointment in Florida's Panhandle as Chief of Police.

 While chief, I was privileged to join the Florida Association of Chief’s of Police, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives and further participated with various community organizations and boards.

 

As a proactive, dedicated leader, I made safe schools a priority in Georgia and made professional, responsive service a priority in Florida! As a determined CEO, I have studied at Savannah Technical College, Armstrong Atlantic State University, and Florida Gateway College, logging over 1,500 hours of continued executive law enforcement training, with key focuses on supervision, accreditation, management, departmental budgeting, emergency management, records management, departmental development, grant writing, and record efforts of crime reduction.
